Variations of Brownie Cookies
Brownie – Use whatever brownie batter you like the best. I usually get the BOGO at my local grocery store. I like the convenience of boxed brownie mix when I need the perfect sweet treat ASAP.
If you want to make the brownies from scratch, this is a delicious easy recipe from Handle The Heat.
Semi-sweet chocolate chips – you can use dark chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, or even white chocolate chips.
Nuts – Mix in 1/2 cup of your favorite chopped nuts into the cookie dough or brownie batter. Walnuts or pecans are the most popular.
Caramel Sauce After the Marbled Cookie Brownie is done baking, drizzle some melted Caramel Bits over the top before cutting and serving.
Sea Salt Flakes – This is one of my favorite toppings for the Marbled Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownie. Sea Salt compliments the sweetness of the chocolate. Sprinkle a little over the brookies before serving. It’s insanely good!
Top Tips
- To ensure the chocolate chip cookie brownies don’t crumble when cutting, make sure they are completely cool. Also, use a plastic knife for the cleanest cut lines.
