Ingredients

- Strawberries: Frozen or fresh strawberries work. Frozen gives the drink a thicker, slushier texture.
- Tequila: Keeps the cocktail grounded in classic margarita flavor.
- Hennessy cognac: Smooth, rich, and slightly oaky for a bold, elevated twist.
- Strawberry syrup: Boosts berry flavor and adds just the right amount of sweetness.
- Fresh lime juice: Bright and tangy, it balances the sweetness perfectly.
- Fresh orange: Adds natural citrus sweetness and depth.
- Sugar (for the rim): A sweet conrast to the tart citrus and berries.

How To Make Frozen Strawberry Hennessy Margaritas
- Rinse and hull the strawberries
- Add strawberries to a blender
- All all the liquid ingredients and add ice
- Cover the blender then pulse until completely blended with a slushy consistency
- Sugar the rim of the glass then pour in the strawberry mixture.

The main difference between the two tequilas is that one is an aged tequila and the other is not. Tequila Blanco is bottled right after distillation. Tequila Reposado is aged either in a steel or oak barrel.

A lot of Hennessy Margarita recipes call for Reposado due to its oaky, earthy undertones.
I prefer to use Blanco which has notes of pepper and citrus for these recipes because I taste more of the Hennessy. Either one is perfectly fine to use!
Triple sec is an orange-flavoured liqueur that originated in France. It usually contains 20–40% alcohol by volume.
Triple sec is rarely consumed by itself, but is used in preparing many mixed drinks.

- 4 ounces margarita mix
- 2 ounces fresh orange juice – juice of 1 medium size orange
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice – juice of 1 lime
- 1 ounce Hennessy cognac
- 1 ounce tequila
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup (if you want it on the sweeter side)
- Garnish (lime wedge or orange slice)
- Frozen Hennessy Margaritas
- 16 ounces fresh strawberries – rinsed and hulled
- 6 ounces tequila
- 4 ounces Hennessy cognac
- 4 ounces strawberry syrup
- 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice – juice of 1 lime
- 2 ounces Fresh orange juice – juice of 1 medium size orange
- 3 – 4 cups fresh ice
- Sugar (for the rim)
- Garnish – fresh strawberry
Instructions
Hennessy Margarita:
- Add fresh ice cubes to a cocktail shaker
- Add all the liquid ingredients: margarita mix, fresh orange juice, fresh lime juice, Hennessy cognac, tequila, simple syrup (if you want it on the sweeter side)
- Shake, shake, shake for at least 30 seconds to blend all those lovely flavors together.
- Salt the rim of the glass
- Put a few fresh ice cubes in the glass
- Strain into the glass
- Add your favorite garnish
